  • Equipment for reduced tillage, including seeding and post-seeding implements
  • Limestone support for reduced tillage transitions
  • Pollinator seed mixes, habitat establishment, and labour for planting and maintenance
  • Buffer, shelterbelt, and riparian area establishment costs, including materials and contractor labour
  • Livestock fencing and remote watering systems linked to riparian projects

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed by the Department of Agriculture against the program criteria.
  • If approved, applicants receive a Letter of Agreement setting out the funding and terms.
  • The applicant must review, sign, and return the Letter of Agreement within 30 days.
  • Claims are submitted after the signed agreement is received and must include supporting invoices and proof of payment.
  • Projects are subject to audit, verification, and final reporting requirements.

  • Applicants new to Programs since 2023 must complete the Program Funding Registration form.
  • Returning applicants must update their registration form as needed.
  • Only one application per year is allowed.
  • A final report is required with the claim.
