This program provides up to $50,000 to support new community service initiatives. Projects must align with at least one focus area, including financial literacy, healthy living, food accessibility, or support for families with children.
Activities funded
- Financial literacy initiatives that empower personal success
- Programs that promote healthy living through essential community supports
- Initiatives that enhance access to and availability of nutritious food
- Programs that support families with children
Examples of admissible projects:

New financial literacy coaching series with workshops, childcare, and evaluation

New weekly subsidized produce market with nutrition classes for families

Eligibility
- The applicant must be a charitable or non-profit organization.
- The organization must be located and serving in the Northern Rockies and/or North Peace regions.
- The proposed program or project must be a new initiative.
- The project must align with at least one of the fund’s focus areas.
