How to apply

  • Step 1: Submit Letter of Intent
    • Prepare a short LOI with project description, budget estimate, preliminary data, and CV/biosketch.
    • Send the LOI through the proposal portal link provided by FAST.
  • Step 2: Prepare the full application
    • Download and complete the application form.
    • Write the research plan, budget justification, and supporting sections.
    • Use the required budget sheet and biosketch format.
  • Step 3: Submit the application electronically
    • Upload and submit all materials through the designated online submission link.
    • Applications must be sent as PDF files.
  • Step 4: Respond to review feedback if requested
    • Address any reviewer questions or recommendations before final funding decisions.

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
  • FAST conducts scientific peer review through its Scientific Advisory Board.
  • Recommended applications are reviewed by the Scientific Panel and then the Board of Directors.
  • Applicants may be asked to respond to reviewer questions before final funding decisions.
  • Final approval is required before funding is released.
