How to apply
- Step 1: Get pre-qualification code
- Obtain a pre-qualification code before installing upgrades to qualify for the $200 bonus rebate
- Use the code before December 31, 2026
- Step 2: Confirm eligibility and purchase equipment
- Review the eligibility requirements before buying any equipment
- Purchase an eligible direct vent wall furnace and any optional add-on equipment
- Step 3: Arrange installation
- Have the equipment installed by a gas contractor licensed with Technical Safety BC
- Complete installation by March 31, 2027 to qualify for the bonus rebate
- Step 4: Submit the rebate application
- Log in through your Account Online to start the application
- Submit the application within 90 days of the paid invoice date
- For the bonus rebate, submit by the earlier of 90 days from the paid invoice date or June 30, 2027
- Step 5: Upload supporting documents
- Include a copy of the paid invoice(s)
- Provide the required invoice details and contractor license information
