How to apply

  • Step 1: Review program materials
    • Consult the Terms of Reference on IODE.ca.
    • Download the Letter of Intent and application form.
  • Step 2: Prepare the submission
    • Complete the application form.
    • Prepare two letters of reference.
    • Write the project or program description.
    • Prepare a detailed budget.
  • Step 3: Send the application
    • Email the Letter of Intent to IODEinfo@bellnet.ca.
    • Email the completed application package to IODEinfo@bellnet.ca.

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed by a selection committee made up of IODE members and advisors.
  • The winning applicant is announced on IODE Founder’s Day, February 13.
  • Funds are forwarded after the proposal has been vetted by the selection committee.
  • Professional evaluation is required for funded programs.

  • The grant is awarded in alternate years.
  • Results must be presented at a professional conference or similar group.
  • IODE requires professional evaluation of funded programs.
