This funding provides up to $50,000 to support programs that prevent, treat, and alleviate abuse and neglect in children and youth. It supports professional individuals or groups to research, develop, or implement approaches to reduce child abuse and neglect.

Activities funded

How to apply

Step 1: Confirm intent to apply
  • Email the Chairman to confirm your intent to apply.
Step 2: Prepare application package
  • Complete the application form.
  • Prepare the project proposal.
  • Obtain two letters of reference to accompany the proposal.
Step 3: Submit application
  • Submit the completed application form, proposal, and two letters of reference.

Processing and Agreement

  • The winning applicant is informed of funds available in conjunction with IODE Founder’s Day on February 13.
