Eligibility

  • The applicant must be an eligible Indigenous entity or organization supporting nation rebuilding.
  • The proposed initiative must support nation rebuilding efforts that increase capacity at the larger nation level.
  • The applicant must be mandated by each participating member community/organization to undertake the initiative on their behalf.
  • The applicant must be incorporated and in good standing.
  • The application must include a plan for reporting to member communities on use of funds, activities, and results.

  • Nation member communities or member organizations (on behalf of nation entities)

How to apply

Step 1: Access application form
  • Locate the Nation Rebuilding Program Application Form on the Proposals, Applications, Work Plans (PAW) page under PAW #76966798.
Step 2: Prepare required attachments
  • Compile details on consultant and professional services.
  • Gather proof the applicant is incorporated and in good standing.
  • Prepare proof the applicant is mandated to act for each participating member community/organization (e.g., Band Council Resolutions or support letters) from each participant.
  • Prepare disclosure regarding any former public servants involved (Values and Ethics Code for the Public Service).
  • Prepare a description of how the applicant will report to member communities on use of funds, activities, and results.
  • Prepare disclosure of all prospective funding sources for the initiative, including other government sources expected.
Step 3: Submit by email
  • Email the completed application package to the program email address указан in the guidelines.
  • Address it to the Director, Negotiation Support Directorate, Fiscal Branch, Treaties and Aboriginal Government.
  • Use the required subject line format: Name of the applicant — Nation rebuilding submission 2021 to 2022.
