How to apply
- Step 1: Review program information and local zoning requirements.
- Confirm the proposed unit can comply with municipal rules.
- Prepare the application package and supporting documents.
- Step 2: Submit the application to Oxford County.
- Send the application form and documents to the County for conditional approval.
- Step 3: Receive conditional approval and start work.
- Wait for the conditional letter of commitment.
- Begin construction within 30 days of the letter.
- Step 4: Complete permits, agreement and funding release.
- Provide the building permit, sign the funding agreement, and register the charge on title.
- Submit occupancy, lease and tenant verification documents to receive funding installments.

- Qualified projects receive a conditional letter of commitment.
- A funding agreement is signed and a charge is registered on title.
- Funding is released in two installments based on permit, occupancy and lease documents.
