My Future My Career Kids Program updates
The My Future My Career Kids Program now says applicants cannot operate a family-business extension or a product-resale business, and the BECN grant reuse restriction is now 3 years instead of 2 years. The page also adds a new Apply now Paperform link, which changes the application entry point. Important dates are now visible: applications open Wednesday, May 20, 2026; the deadline to apply is Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.; and successful applicants will be notified by Thursday, June 18, 2026. For approved participants, the page now also lists a Thursday, July 9, 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. cheque presentation awards ceremony and pizza party, a Wednesday, August 12, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. tradeshow-style selling event, and a Saturday, August 22, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Cobourg Farmers Market Youth Day.
