How to apply

  • Complete the municipal grant funding application.
  • Send the completed application to the Treasurer or Deputy Treasurer.
  • Submit the application on or before August 31 each year to be included in the review process.

Processing and Agreement

  • Late or incomplete applications will not be forwarded for consideration.
  • Complete applications received by the August 31 deadline are forwarded to Council as a Whole and/or the Municipal Grant Funding Committee during budget deliberations.
  • Applications are evaluated against the general and financial criteria and principles in the Municipal Funding Policy.
  • A presentation and interview question period may be requested during yearly budget deliberations.
  • Grant recipients are notified in writing after Council approves the Town’s annual budget, and awards may include conditions or quarterly payments.
