• Be an incorporated, established arts organization.
• Have a continuing presence in Winnipeg throughout the year or seasonally.
• Demonstrate a track record of high-quality programming or services.
• Show a history of consistent programming/presentation and public support.
• Be invited by the Winnipeg Arts Council to apply.

• Organizations that are not invited by the Winnipeg Arts Council
• Arts organizations without an incorporated legal status
• Organizations without a continuing presence in Winnipeg

Eligible expenses

• Organizational operations costs (operating support).
• Program delivery and services costs (program support).

Ineligible Costs and Activities

• Obtain an invitation from the Winnipeg Arts Council.
• Confirm eligibility to apply to the program.

• Select either the two-year Program Support option or the three-year Operating option, as invited.

• Complete and submit the application through the online portal.

• Applications are accepted only after eligibility is confirmed by invitation from the Winnipeg Arts Council.
• Organizations receiving support must provide regular reporting to demonstrate continued alignment with program objectives.

• Multi-year recipients must provide regular reporting to demonstrate they continue to meet program objectives.
• Supported organizations are expected to maintain strict management and financial controls.
• Support is available as either a two-year program (Program Support) or a three-year program (Operating).
• Organizations are expected to maintain public support and contribute to local artist development.
