Overview of the MRC du Granit — FLI program
The Fonds local d’investissement (FLI) offered by MRC du Granit provides financial support through loans for the start-up and growth of traditional or social economy businesses, as well as for entrepreneurial succession. This program aims to enhance local entrepreneurship, with eligible activities including acquiring a minimum 25% stake in an existing enterprise for succession purposes, excluding simple business buyouts.

Eligibility criteria of the MRC du Granit — FLI program
- The applicant must be seeking funding for the start-up or growth of traditional or social economy enterprises.
- The project must align with the investment policy orientations of the MRC.
- Entrepreneurs or groups of entrepreneurs must intend to acquire at least 25% of the value of an existing enterprise or its assets for the purpose of succession.
- Simple purchase of an existing business is not eligible for funding.

- Entrepreneurs or groups of entrepreneurs acquiring a minimum of 25% ownership in an existing business or its assets.
- Traditional businesses seeking start-up or growth capital.
- Social economy enterprises pursuing development or expansion.

Additional information
- The FLI provides financial aid through several forms such as loans, participative loans, and loan guarantees, but does not include grants.
