Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • Municipalities, municipal organizations, and band councils of Indigenous communities.
  • Non-profit organizations.
  • Social economy enterprises, excluding financial cooperatives.

Who is not eligible

  • Financial cooperatives are excluded from eligible social economy enterprises.

Eligible expenses

  • Professional fees, honoraria, or salaries directly related to the project.
  • Travel and accommodation expenses for participants and resources involved in the project.
  • Expenses related to communication and promotional activities, such as graphic design, social media, and printing.
  • Room or equipment rental, purchase of supplies and materials, production of content and tools, as well as other expenses used exclusively to carry out activities intended directly for young people.

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Expenses incurred for carrying out a project, but incurred before receipt of the official funding request.
  • Capital expenditures for assets such as land, buildings, equipment, machinery, rolling stock, and any other expenses of the same nature.
  • The portion of taxes for which the promoter receives a refund.
  • Routine operating expenses or charges related to the organization's ongoing activities, as well as project administration costs.
  • Expenses already funded by the Government of Quebec for the same project, and expenses not directly related to the project.

How to apply

  • Complete the dedicated form with the help of a community development advisor.

Processing and Agreement

  • Application files are scheduled to be reviewed in November, February and May, subject to the availability of financial resources.
  • Should the resources be exhausted before one of these periods, the planned review will not be carried out.
  • Additional review periods may be held, as needed.
  • A project presentation must be given by the promoter or a representative of the organization to the committee, at an agreed time.
