• Companies not supported by an accelerator, incubator, or recognized support organization.
• Companies not headquartered in Quebec or not intending to maintain their head office in Canada.
• Businesses not in the early stages of commercialization (with annual sales above $2 million).

Eligible expenses

• Consulting fees for intellectual property (IP) experts to evaluate the company's file.
• Consulting hours for developing a customized IP strategy.
• Financial assistance toward the creation of an intellectual property action plan and strategy.

• The initiative is managed in Quebec by main, which serves as a facilitator and connector to a network of intellectual property professionals.
• Service delivery is structured in three parts: training, strategic planning, and implementation of intellectual property strategies.
• Free online training modules are available for startups, covering IP fundamentals and advanced strategies.
• Financial sponsorship may be available for organizations hosting events aimed at raising intellectual property awareness among entrepreneurs.
