Latest change: MomentumPI now directs applicants to the MAIN portal, adds profile creation for bookings, and tightens the requirements for development and implementation tracks.
MomentumPI application and eligibility update
MomentumPI’s application and consultation flow now uses the MAIN portal, and applicants must create a profile there to book an appointment or submit their application. The development track now requires two quotes instead of three, and the implementation track now requires at least one quote from an IP expert at the firm, along with the form reviewed by the Evaluation Committee. The page also adds detailed eligibility guidance for a compliant IP strategy, including work completed with an IP expert, document and process review, research and analyses, and implementation recommendations. It further clarifies that organizations such as accelerators, business incubators, and entrepreneurship support organizations may pre-qualify companies when they have in-house IP expertise, and it now points companies outside Québec to the ÉleverlaPI Canada site.
