MomentumPI provides financial assistance of up to $12,000 for Quebec-based start-ups to develop and implement customized intellectual property strategies. The program supports training, consultation, and IP strategy creation for innovative businesses supported by accelerators or incubators.
Financing terms and conditions
- Financial contribution of $3,000 (+ taxes) required from participating companies for a customized IP strategy valued at $12,000.
- Sponsorship available for intellectual property awareness events: $750 for one event or $2,000 for two events (maximum amounts, subject to reduction based on requests or event impact).

- Provision of training for entrepreneurs and support organizations on intellectual property (IP) fundamentals and advanced strategies.
- Development of customized intellectual property strategies for innovative companies.
- Implementation of tailored intellectual property strategies in collaboration with IP experts.
- Consultation services to assess company IP needs and formulate action plans.

- The company must be in the early stages of commercialization (annual sales of $2M or less).
