• The proposed work must be post-doctoral research training (not undergraduate).
• The research discipline must be relevant to the Foundation’s areas of support.

Who is eligible?

• Host institutions supporting post-doctoral research training candidates in relevant disciplines

Who is not eligible

• Full-time faculty members
• Applicants seeking support for clinical training
• Fellows who already hold a full-time fellowship from another source

Eligible expenses

• Stipend support for the successful applicant

Ineligible Costs and Activities

• Clinical training activities
• Operating expenses

• Preferential rating where guaranteed matching funding from the host institution is evidenced

• Second-year funding is provided only after the first-year progress report is reviewed and found satisfactory.

• The second year of support depends on a satisfactory first-year progress report.
• The Foundation expects the host institution to supplement or match the award.
• Applications showing guaranteed matching funding may be rated more favourably.
• Clinical training is not supported.
