Eligibility
- The proposed work must be post-doctoral research training (not undergraduate).
- The research discipline must be relevant to the Foundation’s areas of support.

- Host institutions supporting post-doctoral research training candidates in relevant disciplines
Who is not eligible
- Full-time faculty members
- Applicants seeking support for clinical training
- Fellows who already hold a full-time fellowship from another source

Selection criteria
- Preferential rating where guaranteed matching funding from the host institution is evidenced
Processing and Agreement
- Second-year funding is provided only after the first-year progress report is reviewed and found satisfactory.

- The Foundation expects the host institution to supplement or match the award.
- Applications showing guaranteed matching funding may be rated more favourably.
- Clinical training is not supported.
