Who is eligible?
- Self-identifying women from eligible countries who are at least 25 years old.
- Students enrolled in an eligible in-person program and university.
- Certificate, undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral students.
- Part-time students (minimum of 2 courses per semester or term) may apply to the South Africa, Latin America and Caribbean, and Trinity Washington University programs.
- For the Trinity Washington University program, US citizens and permanent residents are also eligible to apply.
Who is not eligible
- Applicants related to a World Bank Group, International Monetary Fund, or Inter-American Development Bank staff member, spouse, retiree, or MMEG Board member.
- For the US-Canada program, applicants who hold US citizenship or permanent residency (green card), Canadian citizenship, or Canadian landed immigrant status.
- Recipients of the MMEG grant are not eligible to reapply.
