Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • Registered charities
  • Registered Ontario amateur athletic associations
  • Registered Ontario housing corporations
  • Registered Ontario municipalities
  • First Nation, Métis, or Inuit communities and bands
  • Organizations working in Ontario with a Qualified Donee trustee partner

Who is not eligible

  • Organizations without Qualified Donee status that do not apply with a trustee organization

  • Ontario
  • Organizations outside the Greater Toronto Area are prioritized

Selection criteria

  • Programs serving priority youth demographics receive the highest priority.
  • Applications are evaluated by a diverse Selection Circle.
  • Full applications are assessed after shortlisting from the Expression of Interest stage.

How to apply

  • Step 1: Register online
    • Confirm eligibility.
    • Create an Organization Profile in the online portal.
  • Step 2: Complete the Expression of Interest
    • Fill out the short questions in the portal after acceptance.
    • Submit the Expression of Interest by the posted deadline.
  • Step 3: Complete the Full Application
    • If shortlisted, complete the Full Application in the portal.
    • Submit the full application during the application window.

Processing and Agreement

  • Register and create an organization profile in the online portal.
  • Complete the Expression of Interest after acceptance into the portal.
  • Applications are reviewed by a Selection Circle, which short-lists applicants.
  • Shortlisted organizations are invited to complete a Full Application.
  • Full Applications are evaluated by the Selection Circle, and final decisions are communicated by March 17, 2026.
