How to apply
- Step 1: Pre-application
- Submit a pre-application form with initial project information and requested incentives.
- City staff review the pre-application.
- Step 2: Pre-application meeting
- Meet with relevant City staff to review preliminary concepts and project eligibility.
- Step 3: Eligibility review
- City staff determine whether the project is eligible based on the pre-application and meeting.
- Step 4: Detailed application
- If eligible, submit the detailed CIP application form.
- City staff and Finance review the application and requested incentives.
- Step 5: Decision and agreement
- The application is brought forward for recommendation and Council decision.
- If approved, a legal agreement is prepared and must be executed before incentives are issued.
