Who is eligible?

  • Not-for-profit organizations applying with a registered charity as lead
  • Organizations based in or serving Mississauga

Who is not eligible

  • Not-for-profit organizations applying as lead applicants without a registered charity partner
  • Organizations delivering projects outside Mississauga
  • Organizations proposing political or religious activities
  • Applicants seeking support for fundraising, campaigning, sponsorships, scholarships, or bursaries

Eligible expenses

  • Project-related operating costs, up to 5% of the requested amount.

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Projects delivered outside Mississauga
  • Fundraising or campaigning events
  • Political or religious activities
  • Sponsorships, scholarships, and bursaries
  • Retroactive project costs incurred before the Foundation’s decision date
  • Re-granting or payments for third-party expenses such as parking tickets or overdue rent
  • Operating expenses above 5% of the requested grant amount
