Who is eligible?
- Qualified Charitable and Non-for-Profit Organizations.
Who is not eligible
- Organizations without a Mission, BC address.
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- salaries, wages, labour, contract or service fees of any kind, including advertising, equipment and space rentals, facilitator fees, professional fees, and contractor costs
- sponsorships or in-kind grants
- salaries, wages, dues, fees, sabbaticals
- student exchanges, scholarships, or fellowships
- annual fund drives; projects with a religious component; endowment funds; mortgage payments or deficit reduction; capital expenses, construction, or preventative maintenance; operating expenses

Selection criteria
- Preference will be given to organizations that demonstrate projects will address community concerns that benefit a wide audience.
- Preference will be given to organizations that demonstrate projects are non-discriminatory.
- Preference will be given to organizations that demonstrate projects appeal, support, and provide direct service to the community.
- Preference will be given to organizations that demonstrate projects assist in the relief of poverty and social needs.
- Preference will be given to projects that address current social issues, have a lasting impact, and demonstrate innovative new approaches and techniques in the solution of community problems.

- Once your application has been successfully submitted, you will receive an email confirmation.
- If you do not receive this confirmation, your application has not been received.
- Reporting is required upon completion of the project, but no later than 6 months following receiving grant funds.
