- Applicants listed in the Registre des entreprises non admissibles aux contrats publics.
- Applicants in bankruptcy, under creditor protection, or subject to a receivership order.
- Applicants with recent animal welfare violations or orders.
Eligible expenses
- Non-repayable support calculated per eligible hectare.
- Financial aid based on implemented agro-environmental practices and corresponding parcel areas.
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Projects funded under the Ministerial Initiative on agro-environmental compensation.
- Projects related to cannabis or tobacco production, processing, sales, or related services.
- Projects involving non-approved cannabis or tobacco products.
- Activities on parcel areas not devoted to an eligible practice.

- Parcels located partly or fully within the littoral zone of Lac Saint-Pierre, Quebec.

Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed by representatives of the Minister after submission.
- Applicants receive an acknowledgment of receipt and, if eligible, a notice of admissibility.
- The Ministry sends a decision letter by mail or email stating whether the project is approved or refused.
- If approved, the applicant must sign the financial assistance agreement.
- The last payment is conditional on acceptance of all required deliverables and results data.
