Who is eligible?

• Not-for-profit legal entities
• Cooperatives and public authorities
• Legally constituted for-profit companies
• Indigenous media organizations
• Authorized agents such as band councils and municipalities

Who is not eligible

• Individuals
• Non-Indigenous organizations
• Non-Indigenous governmental organizations
• Applicants funded by another Ministère assistance program
• Applicants registered with RENA

Eligible expenses

• Personnel costs, including benefits
• Equipment or premises rental
• Purchase of materials or equipment
• Study, consulting, subcontracting, promotion and travel costs
• Administration costs and contingency expenses within program limits

Ineligible Costs and Activities

• Operating expenses for routine day-to-day activities
• Projects already funded under another Ministère program
• Expenses incurred before the official grant announcement letter

Eligible geographic areas

• Québec

• The Ministère reviews the application against eligibility rules and ministerial guidelines
• Priority may be given to organizations with Indigenous content, local community relevance, Indigenous-language expression, and province-wide service
• The applicant may be asked to provide additional information during review
• A financial assistance agreement must be signed before funding is paid
• Beneficiaries must submit an annual accountability report

• Applications are normally submitted online through the di@pason portal.
• Some very urgent projects may be processed outside the regular calendar.
• Applicants must keep their file complete and accurate.
• Annual accountability reporting is required from beneficiaries.
