Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • Households in ongoing core housing need.
  • Working households with low income or households between jobs.
  • Households whose members are Canadian citizens, permanent residents, refugees sponsored by Canada, or have applied for refugee or immigration status after private sponsorship has broken down.

Who is not eligible

  • Households receiving social assistance are not eligible for TRAB, including Income Support, Learner Income Support, Assured Income For The Severely Handicapped, Alberta Seniors Benefit, Guaranteed Income Supplement, and Old Age Security.
  • Households without a lease agreement with a landlord in Parkland County, Spruce Grove, or Stony Plain.
