Processing and Agreement
- The application is reviewed in two stages, starting with the Letter of Intent.
- Only LOIs that best fit the program goals are invited to the full proposal stage.
- PHAC is not obliged to fund a project after LOI review.
- A Contribution Agreement is required for funding and includes performance conditions.
- Funded organizations are subject to financial monitoring, reporting, and evaluation.

- Projects involving human research require research ethics board approval.
- Projects must be accessible in one or both official languages, depending on reach and audience.
