Funding of up to $7,000 supports community-based programming in key priority areas. It complements new or established initiatives, including eligible sport training activities.

- The applicant must be a Canadian registered charity.
- The charity must conduct activities in the Northwest Territories.
- The proposed programming or community-based activities must align with at least one priority area (volunteer development/mentorship, collective action on community needs, or community resilience).
- Organizations must provide training related to cross-country skiing, biathlon, mountain biking, speed skating, canoeing, or kayaking.
