Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • GST and, for approvals before 2019, PST
  • Costs incurred before signing the agreement
  • Ongoing marketing maintenance, operational costs, and staff wages
  • Meetings, conferences, trade shows, travel, hospitality, and giveaways
  • Equipment purchases, project overruns, postage, phone, office rent, and in-house printing

How to apply

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed on a tri-annual basis.
  • Only complete applications that meet program requirements are processed.
  • Successful applicants must sign the funding agreement before funding is released.
  • Projects are verified after completion before final funding is released.
  • Reporting on measurable outcomes is required about one year after project completion.
