Overview
Provides up to $20,000 (to 50% of the budget) to support new marketing campaigns or projects. The program funds stand-alone initiatives that help a community or region pursue opportunities that strengthen economic vitality and diversification.
Activities funded
- New marketing campaigns that position a community or region to take advantage of opportunities supporting economic vitality and diversification.
- New stand-alone marketing projects that are separate from existing marketing activities.
Examples of admissible projects:

Create a new digital campaign promoting shoulder-season group travel itineraries

Build a new brand and buyer campaign for local makers and food products

- The applicant and the project must be located within the Northern Development Initiative Trust service region.
- The project must be a new marketing campaign or project that is separate from existing marketing activities.
- The initiative must position a community or region to take advantage of opportunities that support economic vitality and diversification.
