How to apply
- Visit the Endow Manitoba website under Programs for the Manitoba Heritage Trust Program information and application form.
- Complete the MHTP Application Form.
- Submit the form to the email address on the form, or to The Winnipeg Foundation for museums and archives located outside Winnipeg.
- Contact your local community foundation if you are located outside Winnipeg.
- Complete the required agreement with The Winnipeg Foundation and, if applicable, your local community foundation.
- Provide the initial threshold gift of $2,500 to start the Heritage Trust Fund.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed after submission.
- Applicants are notified within 10 working days.
- Approved organizations complete an agreement with The Winnipeg Foundation and, where applicable, a local community foundation.
- The Heritage Trust Fund is then established and managed under the agreement.
- Stretch funds are transferred after eligible gifts are counted as of September 30.
