How to apply

  • Step 1
    • Create a profile in Manipogo, MAC’s online application system.
    • Or use the offline PDF forms if you have limited internet access or accessibility needs.
  • Step 2
    • Complete the registration, project, budget, and support material sections.
    • Include collaborator information, confirmation letters, and permissions if applicable.
  • Step 3
    • Submit the completed application and support material by mail, email, or in person on the deadline day.
    • For mailed applications, ensure the envelope is postmarked by the deadline.

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed after submission by MAC staff or an external peer assessment panel, depending on applicant type.
  • Applications are assessed on impact and inclusion, project quality, and project feasibility.
  • Results are sent within two months for individuals and arts groups, and within three months for organizations.
  • Eligibility must be approved by MAC staff before the application is considered.

Additional information

  • MAC can provide translation for French applications, or reimburse a translator at $0.27 per word.
  • Applicants with limited internet access or accessibility needs may use offline PDF application forms.
  • D/deaf applicants or applicants living with a disability may request extra funding for accessibility-related supports and services.
  • Program consultants can review a draft application before submission.
