• The property must be located in one of the designated sectors specified by the regulation.
• The property must be at least thirty (30) years old at the time of registration to be eligible for the housing intervention component.
• If the owner is a company, a resolution authorizing a representative to sign must be included with the registration form.
• The owner must commit to respecting all the conditions and terms of the PRQ.

Who is eligible?

Eligible expenses

• Major foundation repairs and structural corrections.
• Complete facade renovation and insulation work.
• Repairs to deficiencies related to occupant safety.
• Renovation or addition of housing units.
• Conversion of non-residential buildings into residential units.
• Repair of pyrite damage in the main building.
• Professional fees related to the project.
• Construction permit costs.

Ineligible Costs and Activities

• General maintenance work (e.g., replacing doors, windows, or roofing)
• Work performed before obtaining City authorization
• Home enlargement or expansion
• Aesthetic renovations (kitchens, bathrooms, flooring)
• Work on integrated garages attached to the main building

Eligible geographic areas

• Properties located in designated sectors of Longueuil (Ville de Longueuil).

• Registration on a waiting list (processed in order of receipt)
• Pre-qualification visit by a program officer; eligibility notice issued if approved, requesting required documents
• Document analysis and eligibility certificate issuance (a $100 processing fee applies after eligibility notice)
• Building permit application and work completion
• Post-work inspection and subsidy payment
