Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • Registered not-for-profit societies
  • Community organizations serving Prince George residents
  • Organizations offering ongoing public programming or services

  • Organizations with an operating budget of $250,000 or more
  • Organizations that do not serve Prince George residents
  • Organizations with a low-cost or subsidized lease agreement with the City of Prince George
  • Organizations with a Standing Grant Agreement

  • Overall scoring matrix review based on eligibility and alignment
  • Additional consideration may be given to the number of applications, total amount requested, and available budget

How to apply

  • Step 1: Create an account
    • Register or log in on the grant portal.
    • Prepare your organization profile for submission.
  • Step 2: Submit Letter of Intent
    • Complete the first-stage application.
    • Submit it by January 15 at 4:30 pm.
  • Step 3: Submit full application if invited
    • Complete the full application after LOI approval.
    • Submit it by January 31 at 4:30 pm.
  • Step 4: Check application status
    • Log in to the portal to track your submitted application.

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed after the annual deadline.
  • Applications are assessed using a scoring matrix.
  • Funding decisions are made by the adjudication team.
  • Successful and unsuccessful applicants are notified by email within 6 to 8 weeks after the deadline.
  • Annual reporting is required after funding is received.
