Who is eligible?
- Natural persons financially admissible to legal aid.
- A group of persons whose members are natural persons financially admissible to legal aid.
- A non-profit legal person whose members are natural persons financially admissible to legal aid.
Eligible expenses
- Honoraires, débours and fees referred to in article 5 of the Act.
- Court disbursements and rights payable for services rendered by officers of the land register.
- Administrative fees established at 50$, except when legal aid is obtained for services under paragraph 1.1 of article 4.7.
How to apply
- A financially admissible person may consult an avocat exerçant en cabinet privé before submitting an application under article 62 of the Act.
- An application may be submitted by the lawyer himself on behalf of a person for whom a conditional eligibility certificate may be issued; in that case, the application is verbal.
