How to apply

  • Step 1: Expression of Interest
    • Log in to ResearchNet.
    • Identify participants and complete required profiles.
    • Submit the EOI summary and select CEPI or NRC.
  • Step 2: Full Application
    • Co-develop the application with the selected partner.
    • Complete the research proposal and budget justification.
    • Upload CVs, SGBA certificates, partner documents, and attestations if required.
  • Step 3: Submit in ResearchNet
    • Upload signature pages and all required attachments.
    • Submit the completed application before the deadline.

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are first reviewed for relevance at the Expression of Interest stage.
  • Only EOI-selected applicants may submit a Full Application.
  • Full Applications are then reviewed again for relevance and peer review, if applicable.
  • Funding decisions are made from the top-ranked applications.
  • Successful applicants are published on the CIHR website.
