How to apply

  • Step 1: Check the intake period
    • Review the annual application window.
    • Confirm the project fits the program requirements.
  • Step 2: Complete the application
    • Use the prescribed form available on the County website.
    • Enter the project, organization, and funding details.
    • Upload any supporting material with the form.
  • Step 3: Submit the application
    • Send the completed application during the intake period.
    • Applications received outside the intake period may only be considered at Council’s discretion.
  • Step 4: Await review and decision
    • The County reviews applications in October.
    • Applicants are notified after budget approval.

  • Applications are reviewed by the Community Grants Selection Working Group.
  • Applications are scored against the program criteria.
  • Recommendations are presented to the Community Services Committee for approval.
  • Applicants are notified whether their application was successful.
  • Approved applicants must meet release conditions before funding is paid.

  • One application per year is generally allowed.
