How to apply
- Step 1: Pre-consultation
- Book a pre-consultation meeting with municipal staff.
- Confirm the requirements for a complete application.
- Step 2: Prepare application
- Complete the online CIP application form.
- Prepare the cover letter, estimates, plans, photos, and other supporting materials.
- Provide owner authorization if the application is submitted by a tenant.
- Step 3: Submit application
- Submit the complete application to the Community Planning Department through the online portal.
- Applications are accepted year-round on a first-come, first-served basis, starting in March 2026.
- Step 4: Review and decision
- Municipal staff review the application and supporting documents.
- Applications are evaluated and staff recommend successful applicants to Council or its delegate.
- Step 5: Agreement and payment
- Approved applicants enter into a legal agreement with the Municipality.
- After project completion and inspection, incentives are issued according to the agreement.
