How to apply

  • Step 1: Prepare the application dossier
    • Write the cover letter.
    • Prepare the text explaining your journalistic approach.
    • Update your CV.
  • Step 2: Prepare the journalistic work
    • Submit one original science-related journalistic piece in French.
    • Choose the format: article, audio report, video report, or multimedia dossier.
  • Step 3: Combine and send the application
    • Put the three required dossier documents into one PDF.
    • Email the application to bfs@acs.qc.ca with the subject line “Bourse Fernand-Seguin / Candidature”.
    • Send audio or video files through a file transfer service if needed, or use a link for a multimedia dossier.
  • Step 4: Wait for confirmation and review
    • Keep the acknowledgment of receipt sent by ACS.
    • Only complete applications are sent to the jury.
