Who is eligible?

- Salaries and wages for event planning and execution.

- Event moderator or emcee fees.
- Travel and accommodation for organizers or speakers, excluding flight costs.
- Administrative, venue, equipment rental, promotion, translation, printing, and virtual platform costs.
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Invoices and proof of payment not issued in the applicant’s name.
- Extended warranties, taxes, legal fees, financing charges, loan interest payments, and bank fees.
- Materials or services purchased outside the eligible invoice dates.
- Hospitality costs including food and beverage.
- Speaker gifts including gift cards, gift baskets, and alcohol.
Selection criteria
- Applications are reviewed based on alignment with the program objectives.
- Applications are reviewed based on the event’s suitability within the OFCAF program year.
How to apply
- Applications are only accepted through the OSCIA portal at osciaportal.org.
- Participants must create an account and enroll their business or organization to access the application form.
- Applicants must review the program guide in its entirety before completing the application.
- Relevant documents related to the KSE, such as an agenda and/or a summary, must be attached.
- Applications requesting cost-share funding must enter a cost-share amount of $1 and be submitted at least 10 business days before the event date.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed based on alignment with the program objectives and suitability within the OFCAF program year.
- OSCIA may decline applications that do not meet these criteria.
- Approved cost-share applicants receive written confirmation.
- A service agreement must be signed between OSCIA and the contracted organization.
- Claim submissions require an event summary and supporting invoices and proof of payment.
- Cost-share payments are made by electronic funds transfer (EFT).
