Eligible geographic areas
- GPE partner countries
- Single-country focus: the selected country of focus
- Multi-country and regional/global projects: at least three GPE partner countries
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are screened for eligibility and completeness
- Eligible proposals are reviewed by IDRC and external experts
- Shortlisted proposals are ranked by the Independent Assessment Panel
- Final approval is given by the KIX Executive Committee
- Successful applicants are notified and then complete an inception phase after signing the grant agreement
