- Keep the application within four pages for a first application, excluding the cover letter.

- Outline the proposed project, including the objective, methodology, anticipated outcome, and impact.
- For extension requests, include a progress report on accomplishments.

- Prepare a detailed budget and identify other sources of funding for the project.
