How to apply
- Step 1: Receive a formal invitation from Foundation staff to submit a letter of intent or concept paper.
- Wait for staff to invite the application before submitting.
- Step 2: Submit the letter of intent.
- Include the organization description, program details, requested amount, project budget, and contact information.
- Send it only if specifically invited.
- Step 3: Respond to further review requests.
- Be prepared to provide a concept paper or discuss the project with staff if requested.
- A site visit may also be scheduled in some cases.
- Step 4: Submit the full proposal if invited.
- Use the format supplied by the Foundation.
- Have a volunteer board member sign the application.
- Step 5: Await the trustees’ decision.
- The Foundation sends written notification of the decision after the trustees’ review.
Processing and Agreement
