Eligibility

  • Be a Canadian-based registered charitable organization with a Revenue Canada Business Registration number.
  • Have total revenue below $2 million (based on the most recently filed T3010).
  • Deliver programs that operate in Canada.
  • Run programs benefiting marginalized children and youth, Indigenous peoples, and/or animals.

Who is eligible?

  • Canadian registered charitable organizations delivering programs in Canada.
  • Indigenous-led non-profit organizations (special consideration may apply if not a registered charity).

Who is not eligible

  • Organizations with total revenue of $2 million or more (based on the most recently filed T3010).
  • Organizations delivering programs outside Canada.

Additional information

  • The foundation has three overlapping focus areas (Reconciliation, One Health, and Marginalized Children and Youth), and funds two focus areas each year.

  • Special consideration may be made for Indigenous-led non-profits without registered charitable status.
