This program provides up to $5,000 to support charitable and not-for-profit organizations completing specific projects that directly benefit their organization. Funding supports creating student employment opportunities that build employability skills and connections with employers.

Activities funded

  • Organization-specific projects that directly benefit a charitable or not-for-profit organization while providing a student job placement
  • Work placements that help youth learn about charitable and not-for-profit organizations
  • Employment opportunities that develop youth skills for future employability
  • Mentoring-based roles that support youth through sharing skills, knowledge, and professional services
  • Roles that connect youth to meaningful economic opportunities and employer networks
Examples of admissible projects:

Hire a student to digitize records and build reporting tools

Employ a student to run summer volunteer outreach and recruitment
