- Non-profit independent organizations seeking to expand opportunities for free, independent and pluralistic media.
Selection criteria
- Proposals are selected in line with UNESCO’s strategic programmatic approach in each country.
- Priority is given to media projects with the potential to serve as innovative pilots.
- Particular attention is paid to proposals from least developed, landlocked and small island countries, as well as those in conflict or post-conflict situations.
- Development needs identified by research using the IPDC endorsed Indicators and resources are considered where possible.
