IP Assist Application

Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • Existing IRAP clients with an ITA assigned.
  • Innovative technology-focused, incorporated, profit-oriented small or medium-sized businesses.
  • Businesses located in Eastern Ontario.
  • Businesses with fewer than 500 full-time employees.

How to apply

  • Complete the IP Assist application form.
  • Agree to the IP Assist Participant Terms and Conditions.
  • Submit the application.

Processing and Agreement

  • Clients must provide up-to-date business data by survey or other collection means throughout the agreement period.
  • Required business data includes business address, business number, employment numbers, share capital raised, revenues or sales, intellectual property created, and ownership details.
  • Business data may be accessed by the Government of Canada as part of Invest Ottawa’s reporting obligations.
  • Invest Ottawa may use aggregated business data that is not identifiable to any one client for public reports or to improve its services.
  • Incomplete, false, or omitted information may result in termination of services at Invest Ottawa’s discretion.
