Eligibility
Who is eligible?
- A group of at least three property owners, whether or not formed as an association, partnership or legal entity, for the planning of the work.
- An owner or a group of owners, whether or not formed as an association, partnership or legal entity, for the execution of the work.
Eligible expenses
- Professional fees and labour.
- Materials supplied by the contractor.
- Infrastructure work, including foundations, foundation and surface drainage, and other work promoting ecological water management.
- Fees for preparing the preliminary layout sketch, up to 5 000 $ (taxes included).
- Notary fees, up to 2 000 $, when the lane is ownerless property.
Eligible geographic areas
- The territory delimited in Annex I of the Arrondissement de La Cité-Limoilou.
Selection criteria
- Grants are awarded in chronological order of receipt of complete and compliant applications, until funds are exhausted.
- When the funds are exhausted, the applications received are placed on a waiting list in chronological order according to the type of work.
- Applications seeking work under articles 8 to 10 take precedence over those seeking work under article 7.
How to apply
- Complete the grant application on the form provided by the city.
- Submit the application in paper format to the offices of the Environmental Control Division or electronically to that division.
- Attach the documents required in this section.
Processing and Agreement
- The preliminary development sketch must be approved, with or without conditions, by the designated official within the 30 days following its submission to the city.
- The decision of the designated official must be communicated in writing to the applicant.
- The applicant must submit the grant payment request in writing no later than 90 days following the work completion date.
- The city sends a cheque within the 60 days following receipt of a complete and compliant disbursement request.
- If the disbursement request is incomplete or non-compliant, a written notice specifies the missing or non-compliant items; the grant cannot be paid until the request is complete and compliant, and the reserve is cancelled if the corrections are not made within the 45 days.
