ISSE intake and guidelines updated
The International Single Sport Event component now has a special application intake for events taking place in 2026–2027: those applications will be accepted on a continuous basis and are not subject to a specific application deadline. The main program page still shows the standard six- to 24-month timing, but the application guidelines now also require an initial Four-Year Hosting Strategic Plan on or before January 15, 2027. The guidelines were expanded to allow funding consideration for Olympic and Paralympic disciplines as well as other recognized international sport competitions, and they add new planning and submission expectations for recurring or multi-year support. Funding conditions and eligible-cost language were also broadened, including updated references to capital expenditures, planning documents, and support requirements.
