Eligibility

  • Be a recognized agency operating for at least 10 years
  • Have no religious or political affiliation
  • Be active internationally in Transat’s key destination markets or business units
  • Propose an activity or project focused on basic humanitarian aid

  • Recognized humanitarian aid agencies
  • International relief and disaster response organizations
  • Non-religious, non-political humanitarian organizations active internationally

Who is not eligible

  • Organizations with religious affiliation
  • Organizations with political affiliation

Eligible geographic areas

  • International operations in Transat key destination markets or business units: Canada, Europe, Florida, the Caribbean, and Mexico

How to apply

  • Step 1: Prepare background document
    • Draft a concise background document covering the required organizational and project information.
  • Step 2: Compile supporting information
    • Include organizational details (type, legal status, board composition, structure, mission).
    • Attach the most recent annual report or report of operations.
    • Describe the activity/planned project and partners (if applicable).
    • State the contribution amount requested and the duration.
    • List other major financial partners to date.
    • Add any other pertinent information and donor visibility program (if applicable).
  • Step 3: Submit the application package
    • Send the background document by mail to the Director, Communications and Corporate Affairs, Transat A.T. Inc., in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, or submit it by email.

Additional information

  • Sponsorship and commercial partnership proposals are handled separately through Transat tour operators’ Sales and Marketing departments.
  • Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
  • A donor visibility program can be included when applicable.
