NRC IRAP’s International customer workshop on software innovation in smart health supports Canadian SMEs selected to participate in an invitation-only workshop in Eindhoven, Netherlands, focused on building relationships with global customers, end users, and international firms. Selected participants may receive up to $3,000 for reimbursement of workshop travel and accommodation costs, and the activity is intended to generate co-innovation project ideas for the September 2022 annual ITEA Project outline days event.

Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • Canadian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)
  • Incorporated, profit-oriented small or medium-sized businesses in Canada
  • Businesses with 500 or fewer full-time equivalent employees
  • Canadian SME applicants eligible for funding as NRC IRAP clients

Eligible expenses

  • Travel and accommodations costs associated with the workshop

Selection criteria

  • Preference may be given to SME applicants with a minimum of 15 full-time equivalent employees
  • Preference may be given to SME applicants that have commercialized one or more products domestically or internationally
  • Preference may be given to SME applicants with greater than $2M CAD in annual revenue

How to apply

  • Interested SMEs must register by clicking the register button below
  • An Expression of interest form will be provided to potential eligible applicants
  • Completed Expression of interest forms must be submitted no later than May 11, 2022

Processing and Agreement

  • NRC IRAP will select 3 to 5 companies to participate in the workshop
  • Selected participants will be sent instructions and information about the reimbursement support
