Who is eligible?

  • Participating Québec-France associations (AQFs)
  • Participating Québec municipalities
  • Young student members from Québec and France aged 18 to 35

Who is not eligible

  • People who have already participated in the program
  • People who have already held summer employment in France
  • People who have already obtained a work permit in France

Selection criteria

  • LOJIQ mobility support is awarded on a first come, first served basis

How to apply

  • AQFs wishing to participate must pay the annual cotisation, complete Form F1, and encourage municipalities in their territory to participate
  • Municipalities wishing to participate must complete Form F2, pair with a French municipality, recruit the agreed number of stagiaires, and obtain an EIMT exemption for each French stagiaire
  • Québec stagiaires must complete Form F5 and send the dossier with all supporting documents to the municipal representative, with a copy to the national program lead

Processing and Agreement

  • The Committee Intermunicipalités receives and analyzes the offers and dossiers
  • Municipalities select candidates in collaboration with the AQF of their region
  • LOJIQ / OFQJ receives the complete list of Québec participants and awards mobility bursaries and transport allowances
  • A virtual pre-departure information meeting is organized before departure
  • Participants must produce a stage report, and LOJIQ requires an evaluation questionnaire 3 months after the end of the project
