Selection criteria
- Need and Solution [20%]: whether the proposed project solves a real problem, integrates AI into imaging and/or image-guided therapy, has a sound rationale, makes the AI and IGT elements integral, and is relevant to the AI and IGT discipline or sector.
How to apply
- Register for an account in the INOVAIT Funding Portal.
- Answer a short eligibility quiz before access to the application form.
- Submit the application through the INOVAIT Funding Portal at inovait.smartsimple.ca.
Processing and Agreement
- Upon submission, INOVAIT staff will check the application for basic eligibility criteria.
- Eligible applications will be reviewed by a panel of the INOVAIT Eligible Projects Review Committee according to the INOVAIT Network Project Selection Policy, and each eligible application will be scored by at least two reviewers.
- The average scores and ranking from the reviewers, along with recommendations to fund or not to fund, will be presented to the INOVAIT Management Board, which makes the final funding decisions.
- The funding decisions will be communicated in writing to all eligible applicants at the end of the review period.
- A month after each quarter end, the Project Lead must submit a short progress report and reimbursement claims form; collaborators will commit to commence legal review promptly after selection and return redlines within 30 business days of notice.
