Who is eligible?

• Private incorporated companies.
• Social economy enterprises (non-profit organizations and cooperatives) engaging primarily in commercial activities.
• Individually owned enterprises and partnerships owned mainly by Indigenous peoples located in the Wendake territory.
• Companies operating in priority sectors such as agri-food, digital arts, financial technologies, artificial intelligence, life sciences, clean technologies, and advanced electronics.

Who is not eligible

• Social economy enterprises (OBNL and cooperatives) that cannot demonstrate good democratic governance.
• Applicants not discharged from a bankruptcy judgment.
• Companies registered in the Register of companies ineligible for public contracts.
• Applicants who failed to comply with financial aid obligations from the City of Québec in the past two years after receiving formal notice.
• Applicants having outstanding amounts with the City of Québec.
• Projects with discriminatory, controversial, or negative image risks for the City of Québec.

Eligible geographic areas

• Agglomération de Québec, including the cities of Québec, Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures, and L’Ancienne-Lorette.
• Wendake.

• The grant application does not specify a minimum threshold for project cost.
• Submission of a funding application is possible at any time, as there is no deadline; the program is open continuously.
• If the applicant is a tenant, the project must be conducted under a lease agreement of at least 10 years duration.
• In the event the company relocates outside the specified area or ceases operations, repayment clauses come into effect depending on the timing of the occurrence.
