Selection criteria
- Incentives are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to Program budget.
How to apply
- Complete the online registration form.
- Submit the pre-approval form, quotes, and required supporting documents.
- After receiving your pre-approval notification by email, start work on your project or study.
- Once your project is complete, submit your incentive claim documents.
Processing and Agreement
- NB Power will contact applicants within five business days of receiving the completed registration and will send required documents for the pre-approval step.
- NB Power may carry out a site visit before issuing pre-approval and/or before accepting an Incentive claim.
- NB Power may verify the purchase of energy-efficient equipment and access the facility to verify installed equipment.
- Payment is authorized after successful implementation and operation of a Project’s Eligible Measures and the review and approval of back-up documents accompanying an Incentive Claim Application; incentives are typically transferred electronically within five (5) weeks of final approval.
- Project Records must be maintained and made available to NB Power for seven (7) years from the date of application, and participants may be contacted for additional verification or surveys for three years after the final Incentive payment.

- You are not required to hire a business from the Industrial Energy Efficiency Trade Network Directory to participate in the program.
- An Electronic Technical Reference Manual is available to show calculated energy savings for eligible equipment and potential in-year and lifetime energy savings.
